Catherine Pepper | Primary Therapist
Catherine is a compassionate and highly skilled Primary Therapist, dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey toward healing and recovery. Holding Level II Accreditation in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) from the American Psychological Therapies Association (2023), Catherine specializes in psychotherapy and clinical behavioral analysis, using an acceptance and mindfulness-based approach to help clients overcome addiction and mental health challenges.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Specialized Psychology, as well as a Diploma in Community and Justice Services, Catherine possesses a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices, addiction recovery, mental health treatment, anti-oppression strategies, and criminalization awareness. Her training emphasizes critical analysis, advocacy, community organizing, conflict mediation, and individual support, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
Catherine’s extensive experience in group facilitation and community-building practices allows her to create safe, supportive spaces for individuals navigating the complexities of recovery. - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Level II Accreditation 2023 American Psychological Therapies Association, a certification that focuses on a blend of psychotherapy and clinical behavioral analysis using an acceptance and mindfulness approach which is highly empowering for clients recovering from addiction or mental health issues.
- Community and Justice Services Diploma Program, a two-year diploma that focuses on critical analysis, advocacy, community organizing, group facilitation, conflict mediation, and individual support work with adults, youth, and children. Trained in anti-oppression, gender studies, trauma informed practice, addiction, mental health, criminalization and community building practices.
